Hello lovers!
Lets meet shall we?
My name is Sofia. I was originally born in Russia and at my blooming age of 10 years old me and my mother made the big move to Australia, which I have been proud to call home for the past 16 years. I am based in Geelong / Victoria / Australia but in saying this, my passport is ready and I will be where ever you want me to be.
I live in a cute townhouse with my bearded fiancé Lochie, along with our fur baby – kitty River (we found her in Echuca by the river, see what we did there). I love making my house feel like a home, decorating it with colourful blooms, crochet warm blankets and other various random pieces I buy (in secret from Lochie) from local thrift stores. I thoroughly enjoy the simple pleasures in life, going camping, cooking delicious meals and having a wine or a cup of tea with family and friends. I work hard, sleep a little but I wouldn’t have it any other way!
I have a bachelor in Graphic Design, Graduate Diploma in Education and a certificate in Fashion Design (that time i wanted to become a famous fashion designer ha) under my belt. I worked for All About Eve clothing for two years, shooting editorials and campaigns. You can also check out my personal fashion photography here> slanted & enchanted . But wedding photography is something I accidentally fell into in 2011 and it felt like home. Going from photographing a friends wedding once of twice, and now I can be found all over Australia + the world, capturing love everywhere I look most weekends. Pretty cool huh?!
I am very thankful for where my hobby has taken me in life so far. I love the funny and inspiring people I meet every day, the gorgeous places my couples take me to, weather it is a pub down the road, or a tropical destination wedding (woo hoo), it’s all amazing to me.
I hope that by telling you a little about my life, that one day I could help you tell your story.
